PROGRAMS & GRANTS
We offer several grant opportunities, in order to facilitate and support the development of youth orchestra programs, with the hope that these programs will ultimately become cherished members of the communities, in which they have been established.
To meet this goal we:
1. Provide funds for instruments, equipment, music, teacher training, and teacher salaries to assist with the start up costs of developing new string programs.
2. Provide scholarships for band teachers, who desire to attend string workshops, allowing their transition to string teaching, and the establishment of orchestra programs in their schools.
3. Award grants for projects that provide unique educational opportunities for string program students and teachers such as workshops, guest clinicians and community outreach.
